Hello Fowlersmissus,
I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis and that you feel you haven't had much help. I've had a look on the forum for you and found other members of the forum who have had an optic nerve sheath tumour in the past. For example, [@Chrisha] posted this thread and [@gshield] also mentioned having completely lost sight in the right eye so don't hesitate to respond to them if you wish.
I hope that you will hear from others on the forum who have had a similar diagnosis and that they will be along shortly to share their experience with you.
Best wishes,
Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator
Hi, I received 28 sessions of radiotherapy earlier this year to control my optic nerve sheath meningioma as it had grown intracranially between my scans in Oct 2020 & March 2021. I had a follow up scan in August and the tumour is stable so not due to be scanned again until Feb. I have no vision at all in my right eye but thankfully no balance problems
