Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC)

I recently went to the GP with an unusual.looking, tender lump on my scalp. They diagnosed it as a cyst. When I returned saying it was more painful, swollen and red ,diagnosed as cystitis again. Today, I went for minor surgery to remove the cyst and the GP wouldn't remove it, as he said that it looked cancerous. He thinks it is Squamous Cell Carcinoma and is very infected and ulcerated.

I have a raised lump next to it, so now I'm worried it's spread to my lymph nodes.

I am currently just waiting for a phone call in the next few weeks to be seen by dermatology. I'm so scared. I have you g children, and feel they're going to be left without a Mum x
