Been quite the rollercoaster since the FIT test. Had the colonoscopy and they had to stop it due to finding something in the distal sigmoid colon. After the scope they said they had taken biopsy and said they were 80% sure it was cancerous as the tumor had ulcerated. 

Been an awful few days but finally had the meeting (after MDT) were they said the findings of the biopsy said no cancer was detected.

The consultant didn’t 100% rule out cancer but said it was unlikely. She said it didn’t look cancerous and believes it is more than likely IBD.

Really not sure how I feel. I went into the meeting thinking that. Due to size of tumor that I was being told it was stage 4. Now the biopsy says it is non cancerous and it is mostly down to inflammation. I am obviously happy but also slightly cautious as they didn’t rule it out 100%.
Anyone else been through this?

my result was zero two years ago but went up to 200 recently i have bad piles which i hear can trigger tests

I've just had a fit test of >200. I have to go to the GI clinic tomorrow but I cant stop worrying  

I too had high fit test  refered for urgent suspected cancer  colonoscopy  also had change in bowel movements and acid reflux/heartburn. To cut long story short had colonoscopy. A large rectal polyp was found. 5cm so very large. Had to have it removed by TEMS procedure because of the size.  Biopsies taken and was benign so dont assume the worse.  Not always as bad as you think but I would urge anyone with symptoms to get checked ASAP as I left it for nearly a year.
