Thank you for replying. That’s brilliant that they have managed to remove it all for you. I have a CT scan tomorrow and then they can’t get me in for colonoscopy until 3 weeks today. At least I can get some results from the CT tomorrow x

MargaretMary. Thank you  hope every thing is going well for you. I’m nearly 7 month post operative and feeling really well. My bowels feel a little different after the resection but it’s ok I’ve a lot to be thankful for  they told me if I hadn’t done anything about the cancer I had 12 month to live  but every thing went better than I expected   Lots of love to you xx

Hi my fit test was over 200 had colonoscopy yesterday,2 large polyps removed and a return needed to sort the base of one that didnt remove fully. waiting results, its a scary horrible time but we either get peace of mind or catch it early so trying to stay positive

Just had a FIT test and came back >200 ug.

Ive been trying to lose weight over the past two years and was on a very strict (hardly any fibre) diet. Been losing weight steadily and going great. However, I noticed around November diarrhea which would come and go until finally decided to go the doctors in February.

Took a Calprotectin test which came back at 290 which obviously caused concern. I was told to try a FODMAP diet and noticed pretty quickly stools went back to normal. However I knew something wasn’t right and pushed for a FIT test to be sure. Which has now came back as >200

I am currently beside myself with worry. I am 38 and have a two year old and five month old and I am terrified of the prospect of having cancer and potentially missing my beautiful daughters grow up.

On top of that I went to the doctor today to get my 2 week referral for colonoscopy and while examine my abdomen the doctor said she could feel it being slightly harder near the upper right side of belly button. When pressing on it, it was slightly tender.

Can anyone help me with some slight reassurance or possible help to get through these two weeks while awaiting the colonoscopy. I am so scared

How did your bowel prep go.   I had plenvu snd threw up all the second dose so had to cancel my colonoscopy.  I really struggled with it

Hi ,I had plenvu and I vomited the whole of the second lot but I still went for the Colonoscopy and it was fine ,I didn't mention it to them .
