Oh no sorry to hear that does seem unusual that it didn’t work and I can imagine the extra pain it’s caused you. Hopefully it won’t be too long till u have your results- mind yourself xx 

They advised me to have a spinal because I have high blood pressure and a minor heart condition.

I won't ever agree to a spinal again,the pain was horrible but at least it's over and done with now.

Doctor said it was unlikely to be cancer but histology  will make certain.

I'm not going to stress about results,

I've stopped going near Dr Google too.

Just being very lazy,doing some crochet and drinking tea until pain in back eases.

It was very unpleasant,

my veins couldn't be accessed,he tried going into my hands with no success,tried both wrists before finally getting access in my arm.

He attempted access into my back three times,with each attempt the pain became much worse to the point I was shaking.

I was relieved when he admitted defeat and sent me to sleep.

I'm just glad it's over,just the wait for biopsies now though doctor seemed confident it isn't cancer.

Staff were lovely and anaesthetist was very apologetic afterwards,

I guess I was just unlucky but I definitely won't be having another spinal.

It’s a shame it was a bad experience..I had both my knees replaced with spinal blocks and had no problems, I’d choose that way rather than have a general any day.  Hope your results are soon back x
