I am waiting on the same but my lining is 12 mm i would imagine from what I have read that you have nothing to be worried about and that your dr is just double checking as they should investigate any post menopausal bleed xx good luck

The waiting is the worst thing.

I've had a series of tests recently including a colonoscopy for a separate condition and then the whole gynae thing.

I'm convinced the stress has caused two bouts of shingles,and have now reached my limit.

I do appreciate the importance of these tests but have run out of steam.

I’m getting mine done next Fri 22 nd but not under ga as otherwise would have to wait longer … so as u say the waiting is the worst thing gives u such anxiety. 
It probably didn’t help with your help with your shingles as stress definitely causes things - hope u get a date soon xx

I've been told it will be a month's wait for a general anaesthetic and then a five week wait for biopsy results.

Unfortunately huge waiting list for all things gynae in my part of the world, hopefully not the same for you.

Have a date for pre assessment,4th October,so hopefully have the procedure fairly soon after that.

That’s great to at least have a date … how are u feeling ? 

Shingles are an absolute monster at the minute,not helped by period type pain,thank goodness for pain killers.
