Hello @Loniemelan,
I understand how you feel. I started panic after I got a recall letter to repeat mammogram as they found something in my right breast. That night I couldn’t sleep thinking about the worse thing scenario.
Had second mammogram then ultrasound. The breast doctor found a lump in my left breast but it looks like gel it’s not solid. Right breast she found small lump that needs biopsy.
The biopsy result it was 7mm grade 1 breast cancer and was scheduled for breast operation on 16th December 2020.
Last week done all the 5 sessions of radiotherapy and now I feel relieve knowing that I start my long journey of “5 years contract” of taking Tamoxifen and mammogram once a year.
Don't panic. Stay calm. Try to think positive that one day you will get over with this trials. If you need someone you can chat with and if you want to ask question please feel free to ask me don’t hesitate and I will answer you honestly.
Hope this message is a bit of help to you to carry on all the treatment your breast team offered for your recovery.
Good luck and keep safe. X
