Hi  I was diagnosed with cmml in April 2021

I'm still in shock lay awake at night wondering what's going to happen.

I was offered no treatment am on " watch and observe" program .

Have bloods checked periodically.

I'm told it's a slow growing cancer.

Although  only diagnosed two years ago specialist said I've probably had a lot longer 

I'm 71  

Just plodding on lol

Hi strawberry I am on a watch and observe also its not Very reassuring, I was in shock when I got the diagnosis and it wasn't until I got home I thought of a few questions I should have asked I need to speak to someone about this to reasure me and to find out the do's and don'ts like you say I'll just have to plod on 

Hi strawbs sorry to hear about your appointment cancelled, they didn't say why? I get my results 18 may hopefully no changes ,fingers crossed, exiting news about your daughter, congratulations, well stay positive and take care xx

Hi strawbs just a quick catch up hope your well ,any news on your cancelled appointment,  went for my blood results Monday, no real change ,just the same questions, bruising, bleeding etc, I've non of that so no problems there , so hope you are well , keep safe xx

Results show they are stable so all  . X x

Hi strawbs got your message, good news your bloods all stable ,I've a blood test end of September, keeping my fingers crossed but I feel ok no bleeding or bruising so hopefully everything is okay, how are you keeping otherwise, have you still getting trouble with your chest infection,  how are your family all good i hope, im off to France for a week soon, never been to France looking forward to it, hopefully the weather is good, well take care keep well xx

Hi strawbs sorry I haven't been in touch , I'm good, I did have a bit of a chest problem but the doctor said it was just muscular problem, but everything is good now, I got the results of my blood test, the doctor actually phoned me which worried me for a minute but he said it was good news my blood count had actually gone up, so I pleased with that, he didn't give me any specifics, just asked the usual questions, bruising, bleeding, how my energy levels were ,but I feel pretty good, sometimes I get a bit tired late afternoon but I just pack up anything im doing and leave it for another day, how are you keeping, when are your blood tests due, did your chest infection clear up ok, I'll not leave it so long next time, take care xx

Hi strawbs how are you keeping, hope you had a good Christmas  haven't heard off you for a while hope you are well, did you get my last post,about 2 months ago? We had a nice quiet Christmas nothing too stressful, as I said my bloods were up doctor was pleased so was i ,but I seem too run out of energy if im doing anything like lifting or carrying stuff, let me know how you are ,have you blood tests booked, mine booked for April, hope to hear from you soon, take care xx

First time I've never had a Christmas dinner on Christmas day

Picked up a virus couple weeks ago and can't shift.

Started antibiotics so hoping for an improvement.

Had my bloods Tuesday and all is well.

I was surprised actually as haven't been well for months.

Think that's our condition if we get a virus / infection takes awhile to shake off.

Think age plays a part. also lol

Hi strawbs good news with the blood results, well done,sorry to hear you were unwell for a while, hope your all OK now  I've my bloods Thursday, results 2 weeks later in April, I feel good to be honest, ups and down days but nothing major, although I had an appointment from the hospital about a heart scan, asked who put me up for it they said a specialist when I went for chest pain, but that was 6 months ago !!! anyway coming into the good weather now, hopefully,  a bit of sunshine always makes you feel better,  well take care will let you know when I get my results, fingers crossed  xx

Hi strawbs sorry not been in touch for a while, time just flies, I've been busy around the house and last week I was in athens for a few days visiting the sights, I've tried to get a reply to you for a couple of days but my account kept getting locked, they didn't recognise my details, anyway how are you keeping, im well, my last bloods were stable, the doctor said there was no movement from the last tests so good news there, any news with you, are you due a test ? This weather is terrible, have you got any holidays coming up, we could do with a bit of sunshine well i won't leave it so long next time, take care xx

Hi strawbs, sorry its been so long time just flies, I got my blood results last month, everything OK all stable at 67, which is same as last time, they seem happy enough, next one January, how are you keeping, well I hope, how did you enjoy that long hot summer, do you prefer the heat or what, when is your next test , we're you away anywhere on holiday, im off to tuscany Sunday for 10 days ,looking forward to it, we'll hopefully hear from you soon, take care x

Had a week's cruise on Norwegian fjord's. with my daughter and family in July

Lovely spending time with my grandson.
