I have recently been diagnosed with CMML it came as a massive shock as I've always felt quite healthy , the only thing I've ever had was appendicitis, it was only found during a blood test , I find myself waking in the middle of the night wondering how is this going to affect my life, although I'm 71 years old I am quite active and enjoy gardening, walking, and I'm wondering if this is going to shorten my life , its worrying me more that I would like to admit

    Hi strawbs got your message, good news your bloods all stable ,I've a blood test end of September, keeping my fingers crossed but I feel ok no bleeding or bruising so hopefully everything is okay, how are you keeping otherwise, have you still getting trouble with your chest infection,  how are your family all good i hope, im off to France for a week soon, never been to France looking forward to it, hopefully the weather is good, well take care keep well xx

    Hi strawbs sorry I haven't been in touch , I'm good, I did have a bit of a chest problem but the doctor said it was just muscular problem, but everything is good now, I got the results of my blood test, the doctor actually phoned me which worried me for a minute but he said it was good news my blood count had actually gone up, so I pleased with that, he didn't give me any specifics, just asked the usual questions, bruising, bleeding, how my energy levels were ,but I feel pretty good, sometimes I get a bit tired late afternoon but I just pack up anything im doing and leave it for another day, how are you keeping, when are your blood tests due, did your chest infection clear up ok, I'll not leave it so long next time, take care xx
