Hi
I have just had a lumpectomy 1cm lump found , operation was a success and all markers fine apart from her2 positive.
I have looked at statistics and with chemo the difference is 2 per cent , I am so undecisive as to what to do as really what I need is herceptin I believe but I am not allowed to have this without chemo.
My head is telling me one thing and my gut telling me another
I would like to hear from people with the her2 positive diagnosis who
1 had chemo
2 who decided not to have chemo
As with or without there are still no guarantees
I have been researching and still keep coming back to the 2 percent on the statistics
Undecisive if one of the nurses could also comment I would appreciate it. I've had so much information in such a short space of time and my care has been the great from NHS, just this decision is a very hard one .
Thanks
