I've just seen your post and by now you will have had the surgery and I hope it all went well. Recovery varies from person to person and I found follow up radiotherapy tired me out, but after that I was soon back to normal. As for survival, my T4N0M0 and subsequent surgery was in March 2014, so now 71 and very grateful to the NHS, consultants, nurses, radiologists, dental surgeons etc. I hope all goes well for you.
