John so pleased for you both.
Haze isn't it amazing how different the same treatments are! on the carbo/tax I took steroids for 3 days following chemo, on my present carco/dox I take the day before, day of and day after chemo! My Domperidone is one or two tabs up to four times a day! never had stomach cramps before but have had for the last few weeks i do find that peppermint caps help, though not all the time lol good news that you have a personal onc/gyn nurse to clear things up for you, the more reassurance given the better we feel!
Take care
Jackie
Thanks Ladies, we had a nice evening and also managed a couple of dances. There was a professional photographer there so I took the opportunity of having a family photograph taken - Mary and I with our three children plus one girlfriend and one boyfriend, lovely picture! Left at about 11.15, so not bad really.
Lovely day today, we had our lunch in the garden then watched the second half of the Rugby. Mary not feeling great, but a lot better than she was last week.
I hope everyone is ok, it's very quiet on here today.
Best wishes,
John

Hello, John, so pleased you had a good evening. Sorry I've not been on much, still feeling quite rough from 1st chemo - nausea and very bad stomach cramps. Better soon, I hope!
Love to both, Hazel xxx
Hi Sharon,
yes we got the photo on the night and it is really nice, I'm tempted to scan it and put in my profile.
Hazel,
Sorry to hear you're still having problems, hopefully the next lot of chemo may help. No need to apologize for not posting, everyone understands how you feel.
Best wishes to all,
John
Hi John, Mary you should sounds lovely! well im back at hospital tomorrow for my ct scan
dont it get to feel like your second home!.then back on the 29th to see what theve got to say.
il keep you posted.big hug to you both take care. sharon xx
Hi Sharon,
Have scanned and uploaded the family pic, and it's been approved. Our two boys are far left and right, our daughter is next to me. Our youngest insisted on wearing his Mum's Daffodil pin, so I wore mine too even though we were supporting a different charity.
Good luck tomorrow, will keep my fingers crossed for the 29th, all the waiting makes it worse.
Hope everyone else is feeling better soon.
John

Hi, John,
I'm still feeling a bit rough, but I just had to send a quick message to say what a super, happy photo! One to treasure, and Mary looks really lovely - well you all look good really, but Mary particularly so given what she's going through.
Love to all,
Hazel xxx
Hi All.
Not sure what I have missed or what I have told you as I have been so poorly again. My sickness has at last eased off and that is such a releif. I am still having the bowel trouble and I can't do anything while I am like this. Everytime I move I have to run to the loo and a watery clear jelly comes out. I have been taking my laxatives but they are giving me stomach cramps so have stopped them and will carry on with the prunes ect.. If it's not one thing it's another.
I will try and catch up with blog today. I think Hazel, Jackie, Mary are all having chemo ??? Sharon I think you are going for scan or results. ? Laura, Dot, I think are ok..... Anyway glad to be back on site and feeling so much better.... It is funny how ill and low we can get and the bounce back....
Love as always Eileen. xxxxx
Lovely photo John, glad the night went well. Hope you feel better soon Haze. Good luck with ct scan Judy.
take care
