hi im 36 mother of 3 n diagnosed dec 23. ive had 2 ops n 5 of 6 chemo n finding it very hard at mo. feel so peed off n cant get rid of that feeling. would love to chat. x
I went to the breast clinic on monday for biopsy results as there was calcium in my breast. the doctor told me I had nothing to worry about but it turns out there were cancer cells in the biopsy but no lump.I had only gone becaus of a large lump wich was a non cancerous cyst. The mri scan on the breast is for them to find out if they can see anything as the mamogram and ultrasound found nothing. I have been back into work for two days, I am a nursery nurse It has helped being busy at work. i am trying to be normal, everyone at work knows, but it is my daughters 13th birthday on sat, I havnt told her yet as I have nothing concrete to tell her, I am trying not to break down, spent the first 2 days doing that!!! My partner is fantastic , she is trying so hard to be strong for me. My heads all over the place and it feels so surreal...i'm 38 years old...I dont feel like I should be in this situation...I gues its normal to feel this way ?
hi, I am Kay. Yr 1 Teacher, currently off with total knee replacement and now - da da daaa!! breast cancer!! told 24th. waiting MRI to see where i t is coming from as i have nothing on my mammograms. 56 year old with 3 daughters and 1 grandaughter, with another on the way due march.
I was diagnosed oct 07 .Mine is a grade 2 and 19 lynph nodes were infected .as bad as the treatment was ,I just kept thinking of the poor kids who go through it .I thought if they can do so can I . Ime on Arimidex now ,and for the next 18 months .Ime fine [touching wood ] apart from the awful hot flushes ,and a bit of weekness in my aems and legs. See my oncolagist dec20 for annual cheak up .The very best of luck to you and every one else who is going through it .I would like to hear from anybody who also has grade2 and is further along than me .
