  • Hi thanks for you reply

I went to the breast clinic on monday for biopsy results  as there was calcium in my breast. the doctor told me I had nothing to worry about but it turns out there were cancer cells in the biopsy but no lump.I had only gone becaus of a large lump wich was a non cancerous cyst. The mri scan on the breast is for them to find out if they can see anything as the mamogram and ultrasound found nothing. I have been back into work for two days, I am a nursery nurse It has helped being busy at work. i am trying to be normal, everyone at work knows, but it is my daughters 13th birthday on sat, I havnt told her yet as I have nothing concrete to tell her, I am trying not to break down, spent the first 2 days doing that!!! My partner is fantastic , she is trying so hard to be strong for me. My heads all over the place and it feels so surreal...i'm 38 years old...I dont  feel like I should be in this situation...I gues its normal to feel this way ?

  • Hi there Kez, sorry to hear you're going through this, but you need to keep strong and positive, no point int telling your daughter anything until you know for def, I really struggled to tell my girls and they are 23 and 21, but they were great and nowadays so many people from tv, sally from corrie, kylie etc, have all beaten this horrible disease, keep posting, one of us in usually on here.

Leonie, fingers crossed this lump is nothing, but babe if youre really stuck for someone to watch Charly maybe you should tell Jon, he may be upset if he finds out later, he's been brilliant throughout all this, so Im sure he will be just as strong, let me know how you get on, wish I lived nearer i would watch charly for you, Rose and the rest of you gals and Tony, hope you are all well, Im feeling good at the mo, have my first mammogram at end of month since all my treatment  xxx

  • Oh Nina Im so glad you told your husband and Im so relieved for those of you who have had good results, I must say I love your picture infact you have spurred me on to update mine, hair is a bit tatty at the moment, dont really know what to do with it  but hey ho at least its there anyway a truly warm welcome to the new people my thoughts are with you through this difficult time but if I can do no more than reassure you that you will get through this and there is light at the end of the tunnel by reading through my past posts you will see my journey has been a tricky one much like many of these wonderful ladies and gentlemen on here but whilst my journey is far from over I feel like I can take in a bit of the scenery again Im feeling much better these days and my husband and I plan to have a much needed holiday in September, so much love to you all I read all your posts constantly and caroline your constantly in my prayers much love always lee xx

It is also multi coloured but every time i seem to decide to get a colour people say they like it !!confused!! I am back to work phased return it ok but knackering and I need to sort out few bits re annual leave and pay (which is a stress i could do without )but its ok .My mum had hip revision op yesterday ,she has lots health probs so we were all worried (and she o far away in Jersey ) but my brothers r there, Anyway it seems to have gone well I have spoken to her so so far so good .Both my girls doing exams (GCSE and 1st yera uni vet med ) so be glad when they are finished .
