Exhausting / hospital admission

So hubby unwell and admitted to local general hospital on a weekend

Exhausting repeating nope he is on this much morphine.....check his notes 

Having to be his advocate politely firm 

Nurses kind and doing their best but still what does someone with no one to voice for them do?

Not sure whats going on but cant have scan and camera cos its weekend!

Frustrating....at least pain meds situation has been resolved after 24 hours  ..

Advice polite firm and dont be shy of standing up for loved ones.

Sending strength to anyone in same boat

    Thinking of you and your husband as you go through yet another round of what cancer can bring. He is lucky having a wife like you to advocate for him. You do have to be a bit pushy but polite at times. Always difficult getting things moving forward at weekends good that his pain relief is under control. I hope you are able to get some rest tonight to be able to deal with  tomorrow.

    Im home atm and will go back in morning .....phew it is so frustrating when the junior drs are left in charge at the weekend .....they do their best and the staff are lovely and kind which is good but you do have to be slightly annoying!

    Good morning RB.  I am sorry to hear about the trouble you are having over the weekend with the hospital.  You really must be exhausted by now.  I am hoping that your husband is at least comfortable and has sufficient pain relief.  Hopefully he will be able to have the necessary tests after the bank holiday weekend.  Sending you massive hugs and take care of yourself.

    Been quite productive with several tests done today the nurse was amazed....might be I had the opportunity to tell consultant a few things .....ummmmmmm

    Or fluke who knows 

    Hubby bit brighter today fingers crossed

    Take care of yourself too ...
