Thinking of you and your husband as you go through yet another round of what cancer can bring. He is lucky having a wife like you to advocate for him. You do have to be a bit pushy but polite at times. Always difficult getting things moving forward at weekends good that his pain relief is under control. I hope you are able to get some rest tonight to be able to deal with  tomorrow.

Im home atm and will go back in morning .....phew it is so frustrating when the junior drs are left in charge at the weekend .....they do their best and the staff are lovely and kind which is good but you do have to be slightly annoying!

HI RB

Im hoping today finds you both in a better place than on Saturday. It is sometimes difficult to find any possible positive aspect of a day. Occasionally a kind word or some reassurance can kickstart a better day. Kind people have helped me do just that and Ive tried to do that for other people as have you and many others. Son took us to the coast yesterday. Watched the waves roll in while enjoying fish and chips. Simple pleasures. Ed

Hubby still in hospital but brighter in himself..Which is something 

Finally got Oncology Palliative nurses on board ....yay pain relief finally sorted hopefully

Fingers crossed for tomorrow having procedure to deal with blocked stent if they can 

Trying not to let the negatives take hold.

Yes its been lovely weather here and we managed to share a smile or two remembering past trips ...so I hope you get to have more simple pleasures
