Hi my name is Lee. I am originally from Liverpool but moved to South Africa when I was one but I have now lived in UK for 26 years now. I found out in 2012 that I had stage 3 lobular breast cancer. I had lumpectomy, then chemo and then radiotherapy, tamoxifen/letrazole. In 2024 I went to the doctor with back and hip pain. She sent me for an Xray. I read on the NHS app that they found two sclerotic bone lesions in my pelvis which were likely benign. I never heard back from the doctor. After a few weeks I phoned up and asked about the bone lesions and the doctor told me that they were 99.9 percent it was nothing to worry about. He sent me for physiotherapy. After the first physio session she referred me for a MRI. This came back showing multiple metastates in pelvis and spine and ribs and skull. So I have been diagnosed with metastatic lobular breast cancer which is treatable not cureable. I am on Ribociclib, Exemastane and Denosumab.
