Im waiting on breast biopsy results, i get them on monday, the waiting is just dreadful, sometimes your gut feeling tells you what you know but this time i just dont know! Anyone feel or felt the same?
I feel so relieved. Not totally out the woods but it's definitely positive. To hear 'we didn't find any cancer' was amazing. I felt like I could breathe for the first time in a month. Hopefully the vacuum biopsy is clear but if it's not, she said it very early days and will just be a simple lumpectomy xx
Thank you. Back in this Thursday for vacuum biopsy! Very quick. Then they said results will be via telephone on 1st November. My hospital have been amazing. Forever grateful for the NHS ️
You must feel disappointed at not getting your full results today, but to be honest, it all sounds fairly positive. I do hope that you won't need any more biopsies, but you are better being certain now, rather than ignoring something which could grow if left.
Don't worry about the tears. I think that they come with the territory. You will feel better once you get a definite diagnosis irrespective of the outcome.
This is great news. I'm delighted for you. It may not feel like it at the moment, but it's good news that they are checking this tissue just to be absolutely certain. It also sounds as if they are going to rush your results through if they're going to have them for 1st November - I'm sure that you'll have no complaints with that!
Thank you Jolamine. You're right, definitely feel a little mixed. I'm obviously so relieved and grateful that they didn't find any cancer but also still nervous at how they feel the need to go back in. But she reassured me that they are double checking. Fingers crossed for no pre cancerous cells and this whole nightmare is over.

Wow, that is really quick Lucy, is that under mammogram? If so, just to say I'm told now the steri strips are supposed to stay on 4-5 days -? I messed up there by taking them off too early and have a little hole - oops xx fingers crossed for you xx
No idea! They didn't mention mammogram. Just vacuum biopsy. I've had a couple of mammograms last time and a marker put in. I did think it was very quick. Made me worry a little but definitely not complaining. She seems very positive. Fingers crossed xx
