Terminal liver cancer

My husband has just been diagnosed with Terminal liver cancer. His kids are taking over mine and his life saying I should now be with him 24/7 as he may die any minute. I'm not allowed to go out for a hour or two, go to the shops meet with friends etc. it is causing so much anger and upset between us all. Am I in the wrong to just want a hour on my own?

    You absolutely need to get out for a break every day. Your husbands children can sit with him for a couple of hours while you go out. They can always phone you if need be. Explain to them you really need that you time to recharge and that if you break down and cannot look after him it will become their full time responsibility. Hope you can resolve this amicably.
