Hello Sjwill1133, and welcome to the forum but so sorry you have to be here, I am a 58yo male, have advanced prostate cancer, diagnosed nearly2 years ago, been through treatment, not curable, and treatment is becoming less effective, and unsure about next stage, best wishes.
Hi there I'm so sorry to hear about your diagnosis I was diagnosed with breast cancer about 4 years ago.My world fell apart had a mastectomy which now I feel cheated and totally uneven as was one breast.But a year or 2 later found a lump under my arm it broke me.Had a biopsy cancer again.I was never shown no scan pics nothing told by cancer nurse not riddled with it. Month later go to hospital. Day my heart was broken told stage 4 terminal metastatic estrogen cancer.Which had spread to my bones lung ànd lymph nodes.I couldn't process it I cried and cried.Head was messed as told earlier I was not riddled I wanted to scream shout can't explain mixed emotions.My partner of 11 years my soulmate my 4 children my two grandchildren how do i tell them.If I'm honest I'm not dealing with it well burying my head in the sand.I can't face the world I spend a lot of time in my room.I've never ever felt so lonely and venerable in my life.Words can't explain that's why I have joined this forum to hopefully connect and talk with someone that understands.Just want to say feel free to message me anytime or anyone in similar situation would be much appreciated.Sorry for long reply but sending good wishes
