I stopped birth control a couple months ago and I have had some abnormal spotting, I saw the gynaecologist and he said everything looked healthy but referred me to ultrasound. I've stopped spotting but I've noticed I've been spotted after a bowel movement. I'm only 31 no kids and I'm petrified I have cancer and I won't ever be able to have children :( it's been 4 weeks and I'm still waiting for an ultrasound appointment to know more I'm going out of my mind 

Hello my spotting was coming from my cervix, it is Badly infected and breaks away easily, if your gynaecologist has checked all this that is a good sign, please try not to worry the waiting is the hardest part but you will have answers soon xx

Hi your story sounds very similar to what I am experiencing I am also postmeopausal ,how has it all turned out for you after your tests

Mine started only a few days ago after a bowel movement and it frightened me when I looked down and saw the bleeding, as this has never happened before. Had another bowel movement last night, and there it was again just as I thought it was clearing up. 

I have booked an appointment with my GP today, so fingers crossed they can give me some answers.

i have experienced the same over the past three days. I have been struggling with severe constipation over the last 3 months and then this week this started happening. I'm terrified of going to the loo, and my lower abdomen is quite bloated. I'm going to A&E in the am but I'm just so scared this is something serious.

I was wondering if you had your results? I am experiencing the same with bleeding after a bowl movement. I had a total hysterectomy nearly 2 years ago. I won't lie it's very worrying. x

I had an appointment with my GP who advised I needed bloods, swabs and an ultrasound scan. 

They did my bloods and swabs last week, so waiting for the results to come back. Still waiting for my ultrasound appointment to come through ... GP said there is a waiting list so not sure when I will be seen for that. 

I'd get an appointment with your GP if you are worried, just so they can check you over :)
