The awful waiting game

I've been reading lots of posts over the last few days so thought I'd take the plunge and join in.

I'm 44, happily married, no kids and until 5 March all I had to contend with was anxiety and associated depression. Then I decided to mention the mild discomfort on my right side to my GP, she suspected gallstones so the next day (!!) I had an ultrasound and yes I had a 4cm gallstone but the sonographer also found two 'abnormalities' on my liver and one in my pancreas. Blood tests showed my liver was under stress but tumour markers for pancreas, liver and colon tested negative.

I've got a CT scan day after tomorrow. My follow-up appointment isn't until 8 April. That feels like a long, long time.
Thanks for reading this and if you are also in this horrible limbo - you're not alone. Xx
