I was diagnosed with early stage prostate cancer in 2010 when i was 56. I had a robotic radical prostatectomy in Dec 2010 and so far my PSA has remained 've recently had TURBT surgery for a small bladder cancer. The pathology came back showing that this was a low grade cancer caught early. Even so there is a risk of recurrence so I'm facing repeat cystoscopies every few months. However, it could have been a lot worse so I'm going to make the best of it.
I retired a couple of years back and spend my time surfing the site and playing my mandolin.
