I'm sorry to hear that you're concerned about a lump in your testicle. We'd recommend that anyone who has a lump that they are worried about speaks to their GP. They will be best placed to examine you and offer some reassurance or arrange a scan.

I'm not a doctor, and what I've written here is what I would do personally.

If this is at the top of the testicle then it could be a structure called the epididymis. This is often felt as a lump and plenty of young men get alarmed when they discover it, but it's quite normal.

Since it's been there for two years, your lump is probably just a normal part of your anatomy. I would check it every month. If it's stable and soft then it's probably nothing to worry about.  If it changes or gets painful or you're just worried, see your doctor.

Thanks for the reassurance, I don't feel as worried about it now. I'll probably still contact my GP but is it normal for there to be a lump on the left but not the right testicle
