  • HI Silverbabel and welcome to Cancer Chat.

I noticed you've tried to reach out to Paepi a couple of times but haven't had a reply. Unfortunately the last time this discussion was active was over 4 years ago so Paepi and the other members on this discussion may not be using the forum as much anymore, which may explain why you haven't heard back from anyone.

I'm very sorry to hear about your husband's prognosis. This must be so difficult, especially now you've found out that the chemo hasn't been working and he's in a lot of pain. If you haven't done so already, make sure his medical team are aware of the pain he's in so they can make this more manageable.

Hopefully some of our more active members will stop by soon to offer their support and advice but if you'd like to talk any of this through with one of our cancer nurses they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very insightful and will do all that they can to help.

We're here for you Silverbabel and sending you both all our strength and support at this very distressing time.

    Kind regards,
