Try not to worry too much, there can be loads of reasons for a recall, we just automatically jump to the cancer reason.....

Will do.  It was such a surprise as I have never felt a lump ever.

I got recalled after a routine trial mammogram (I'm 48), had a magnifying mammogram, ultrasound and biopsies, currently waiting for results.  Consultant said there wasnt a lump I could have felt but lots of tiny white chalky bits they need to check out.

Try not to worry (easier said than done I know).

It may be as simple as not getting everything in and lined up, or calcifications.....I'm going to try and tag our " recall queen"  [@Chriss]‍ she has had a few bless her.....I hope she can settle you a bit.....xx

I had my first 4 call backs from mamorgrams over the years that were all fine... and one felt like a flat pebble ...  I panicked each time ... now I've found out 8.5 out of 10 lumps are benign...  I was 63 when my last one from a chest x ray showed breast cancer ...

I know that word , even just thinking about is overwhelming... and the what ifs spring up .. l had a masectomy in July 2017 ... and honestly looking back, it was doable .. lots of us on here will help you through IF it is positive ... but the odds are good .. I was told don't panic till you've got something to panic for ..  live in the day .. coz no amount of worry will change the outcome ..

I wish someone had told me that on my first 4 recalls .. so hold on in there .. and let us know how you go ..  breast cancers come a long way .. and all those that started here around the time I did are all still here ..  so if you do get teary waiting .. that's o.k .. we all did .. once you know it's easier ..
