Sorry to hear you've had to deal with these worries. I can relate to some extent. 

I've had swollen nodes in my neck and armpits for years. Been trying to get doctors to take me seriously for a long time but due to only being 20 right now, they say I'm too young. Only on Sunday did I have an ultrasound on my neck. The sonographer doing the test said everything looks fine which gives me hope. 

I know how awful it feels to not know what's going on with your own body and the urge to Google symptoms is so hard to avoid. I have had the worry of not knowing if I am seriously ill and not been diagnosed too but now you have had the tests you mentioned, I would definitely let my mind mind relax if I were you. 

If the nodes change in any way or you notice more, go back to your GP. If you want further testing, go back to your GP. If you have any concerns at all about, go back to your GP. I'm a firm believer that no one knows your body like you do and so if something feels abnormal, make sure its investigated and taken seriously. 

Having said all that, the CT scan should have picked up anything malicious and because it didn't, I'd be inclined to believe you have nothing to worry about! :)

Oh Harvey, you have got yourself in a state.  Why not believe the Doctors findings, they are specialist in this area and have told you all your results are negative.  Trust me that is the best result you could get.  You're young and are obviously worried about your health, is something else worrying you and you are focusing on these swellings.  Our bodies change as we grow, lumps and bumps are normal many times.  Don't talk suicide, if you feel so down the call the Samaritans and talk it through with them.  My husband has incurable cancer, which is why I am on this forum, he has fought it and never once have we considered ending our lives, life is too good, you just need to find everyday things to live for, family  friends, the sun, nature, there is so much to live for don't consider for one moment missing it all.  Post again if you want to chat about anything, I'm sure others will chat to you soon.  So sending warm wishes your way and please don't do anything stupid.  Carol

Sorry to hear your husband has incurable cancer, it must be hard. I wrote it wrong sorry, all my blood tests have come back negative but I'm having my ct scan tommorw which could come back with something. My doctor has said he's still not concerned through. I really don't know how to feel because it could still come back and be something even though he's not worried. 

Harvey, the worst part is the waiting, everyone goes through it but we all come through it, despite what the result may be.  So stop thinking the worst, positive thinking helps.  A problem shared helps a lot. Keep us updated and get rid of those negative thoughts.  Take care, Carol 

Hi lymph nodes can swell for no reason at all or their can be a bit of infection a lot of the time it goes off on its own. You can always go back to GP just to double check. Good luck.

Thank you for your reply, its good to hear that they can swell in high numbers for no reason. Its strange because they have shown no sign of being malignancy yet but their are lots of them. The good thing about the weight loss is that I have not carried on losing and I have even been able to put a pound or two on, even through its been really difficult too.

Im just stupid because my mind always goes stright to the worst in these situations. I had the ct scan but the results won't come back until the 30th which is annoying.

Sorry you're worried. Its only natural. Take comfort that all your blood tests ore all OK. I had severe head pain on one side for months. The ct scan of temporal bone and MRI scan of head came back OK.

You're definitely not stupid Harvey, health anxiety is an increasing problem in today's society.  If you think your own anxiety is maybe a bit too much and is getting you down then it would be worth seeking help for this, nothing worse than anxiety ruining your life.
