About TwinTwo

Mathematician, meteorologist and identical twin. - Discovered lump upon noticing slightly 'flatter' bit on breast. - GP not concerned, referred for early screening due to family history 01/05/18 - Breast Clinic - referred for mammogram & biopsy 03/05/18 - Mammogram and 2 areas biopsied, told I've got breast cancer 15/05/18 - Biopsy results - 3.5cm tumour, cancer has spread to lymph nodes, stage 2, ER+, PR+, HER2 - concern over the other breast - referred for another 4 scans 17/05/18 - CT with contrast (Iodine) chest/abdo/pelvis 24/05/18 - XR Mammogram both with contrast, tumour is approx. 6cm, so now stage 3. 07/06/18 - First of 3 FEC (no 'T' yet) chemo after baseline ECG 08/06/18 - First injection to promote bone marrow growth. 09/08/18 - First of 9 T (of FEC-T) chemo Cycle 1 - sickness once but likely due to already brewing migraine Cycle 2 - no sickness, temperature turned out to be due to early stages of kidney infection, 530 neutrophils per ml blood thankfully got in early so not neutropenic when screened :-D (felt fine) Cycle 3 - sickness for 12 hours leading to severe dehydration (felt fine), developed thrush 08/08/18 - Start the Dexamethasone to help with the potential pain side effects of the next chemo. 09/08/18 - Cycle 4, now Docetaxel every 3 weeks for 3 cycles (a last minute change as was going to be Paclitaxel weekly for 9 weeks). Happier with a 3-week cycle as will get to work more hopefully. Nervous due to their major concern that I'll go manic, already having severe insomnia from the high dexamethasone dose and that's not a good sign. 08/11/2018 - Left mastectomy with reconstruction and axillary lymph node removal.
