Hi thanks for letting me join. I recently had mri on back as something showed on x-ray previous near bowel/spine . I had mri next day and was told results in 6 weeks. 2 days later I had call from surgery saying results are back and to book telephone consultation with gp this is 3 weeks away. Surely I would not be told cancer over telephone and would be face to face. Have others experienced this and how were you told I'm very worried and stressed it's cancer due to bowel symptoms I have. It all seemed so rushed at start now I have to wait!
