Hi guys, I posted here a couple of weeks ago about a lump that appeared in my groin. I had an ultrasound and some blood taken. The ultrasound said it was just a reactive node and the blood came back fine with the exception of my liver function being ever so slightly in the red.
Anyway, fast forward to yesterday when I went to stretch my back after being sat down for a while. I stood up and pushed my hands into my back when I noticed a small hard lump in my lower back. I had a shower later that day and found another 3 in the same area! All varying sizes and feels. They are all firm, but very moveable, they slide around like crazy under my fingers.
So I booked in to see my GP this morning. She checked them out and said they were indeed more lymph nodes. She then checked my body and found another one in my elbow. So that is now a total of 12 lymph nodes all over my body. I don’t have an infection or inflammation. She said if my blood tests in February come back fine then just leave it. But I can’t drop the feeling something isn’t right. Why am I so lumpy? There has to be a reason I can feel so many lymph nodes. I’m debating to pay myself for a one off consultation with a hematologist privately just to see what they think, because I feel I’m getting nowhere with answers at the GP. I’m tying so hard not to worry, but it’s really hard.
