Oh my goodness- I could have wrote this. I'm having hip and thigh pain too. Had biopsies taken almost five weeks ago and MRI week after. Not heard a thing. Tried chasing and not getting anywhere.. I'm feeling very down with the wait - it's like torture

Aw hun. It really is bloody aweful. I hate this waiting. Im trying so so hard to bd positive anx upbeat but then the anxiety gets the better of me in MASSIVE waves. Have u got the irregular bleeding too hun. If so. Are you in much pain xxx

ok so I finally got my results and all clear.

but when surgeon was in there he found 3 polyps ( the same ones the other surgeon apparently took out month before. )

i was also covered everywhere with endometriosis, and scar tissue lesions everywhere from 2x c sections and a burst appendix which he said would defo have been a cause of pain.

He then did a womb ablation and burnt my womb lining away. I’m done with kids so that’s all good. Sterilised me too just to make sure.

apart from the expected bleeding after I’ve only had a tiny 3 day period in 2 months.

Check out pelvic congestion syndrome for that thigh pain. I had that and made me feel like I wasn’t a freak for having pain there. Wishing everyone good news

Hello lovely, I used to have post coital bleeding but I haven't had "it" for such a long time due to discomfort and pain that I am not sure if that is still a thing.. I have recently come off the pill after 30 odd years but i get immense intermittant pain - it's like electical sharp shooting pelvic pain then sometimes dull aching very low down.  Scans showed "bulge" on cervix but smears normal. I am worried sick. I am going to try calling the hospital again today - we shouldn't have to wait so long. I spoke to the secretary a week ago she said my results are in.  It's great that the secretary knows my result yet I don't! I really hope you get some good news - and all the other ladies on here.  It is such a worrying time for us all. I feel like my life is on hold until I get to the bottom of this x

Good Mawning :).  Yes, pain in hips and inner thighs was and still is present. Pins and needles, and sharp stabbing pains everywhere like no ones business !! Even in my face.  I am diagnosed with adenomyosis and a cluster of 3cm fibroids and from my reading these symptoms are consistent with my diagnosis. Hopefully your results for C will not be of concern but maybe it could be something more easily treatable . Although let’s not forget - what they can do in response to C concerns is also fantastic now.  Isn’t it a very lonely medical condition. The response I get from those friends who have experienced similar issues and those who have not is miles apart. My friends who had experienced this, to me, almost feel like they are reliving it with me. Those that have no experience seem to just look at me like I have a mild headache .  I think people’s responses are born from a lack of knowledge !. What dates are your results ? X

i had my second Hysteroscopy and D&C today. I've been told I'll have the results in 2 weeks and I can't understand why it takes so long. I went privately.

my consultant also said she suspects the cells are still hyperplastic because the lining was so thick BUT I've been on Norethisterone which has stopped me having a period for the last few months so of course it was going to be thick!!! I'm feeling very confused and worried now 

I have just had hysterectopy on 6th Jan, polyp removed and D/C as womb lining thickened. It's been 2 weeks and still nothing. Is no news good news?

I am 43 yrs old the very produd mother of a 21,18 and 16 year old and grateful wife to my ever suffering husaband of nearly 25 years.

I have always had very regular periods, until the last 6 months where I have been bleeding for FOUR MONTHS continiously.  

Following scans and appointments my consultant saw that my endometrium lining is very thick and I have a few polps

Last Tuesday I had the recommended endometiral abalation, poly removal and biopsies.  Fortunatley I had them all under general and I am now home recovering for the next week.

Again I have been told that I will need to wait for 10 days for the results of the biopsies but the waiting is nerve racking.  The options if it its cancer is to have a hysterectomy as our family is complete however the waiting is killing me.

There is a history of colon cancer in my mothers side which I guess is making me even more nervous..

Just wanted to share my thoughts.   I wish all well and would be great to speak to ladies in similiar situations as no matter how supportive friends and family are they just dont get it  X
