Hi, I’m in the same position, I’m really panicking  went to docs mon and had phone call today to go in Mon, I have a holiday booked 21st should I cancel it or wait for scan, any advice on what to expect at appointment appreciated x

Hi Lperky I would and see what they say at your appointment.  I've only had a GP appointment and an ultrasound yesterday.  Was told it can take 10 days for result.  Don't have a hospital appointment  - got a letter saying they'll review the scan and be in touch "in due course" Panicking every time my phone rings...

Sorry should say "wait and see" re your holiday

Thanks for replying, I got the phone call today to say I would be having scan and biopsy and to take pain killers before hand in case they have to do another procedure, I’m in full panic mode lost my mum and aunt to ovarian cancer at very young ages, I hope your scan results come through quickly with a good result x

Some people recommend taking paracetamol and ibuprofen an hour before the biopsy.  Thank you for kind comments and hope all goes well for you x
