Potential womb cancer

I had a postmenopausal bleed and went to my GP.  She examined me and referred me under the 2 week suspected cancer referral (Scotland)  I have an ultrasound in a couple of days and I am not coping with the wait.  I seem to have every symptom that indicates a positive result.  It doesn't help that I live on my own and can't stop Googling...

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. It sounds like you don't have long to wait for your appointment - I hope it goes OK.

    It's never easy dealing with uncertainty and waiting for information. Try to take things a day at a time while you wait for results, and keep focused on other things as much as possible - I know this can be easier said than done. Do also try to avoid Googling as it only tends to lead to more worries.

    I hope you hear more soon, and in the meantime hopefully you'll get more replies to your post.
