I'm going through the same thing. I have drastic weight loss. Everyone is shocked at how much weight I've loss. I'm very scared. 

Hi did you get seen by the Doctor after you were saying how much weight you were losing ,are you any further forward after you were on here a few days ago ??

I went to the doctor, she said they won't admit me into hospital unless... Literally dying. She says I have to wait for the call from the triage tomorrow. She said it could be stress. I said I don't feel as stressed. But she said I could be stuck in fight or flight. I don't really believe her. I have to eat way more than usual to decrease the weight loss. I'm very scared. I can't see blood in my stool. But they are dark brown. I'm at loss. She said I have to mention the weight loss. I don't feel tired, or fatigued. I'm very hungry which is concerning me as well 

Ok you did the right thing by going and its good that you told her exactly how it is ,they try to get us to agree with what they say is the problem ,as in she said it could be stress you did right telling her you don't feel stressed ,thank goodness you are getting a call tomorrow you really need to tell them how much weight you've lost and anything else relevant to get you seen as soon as possible ,if it was me I would be saying I need to be seen urgently because of the amount of weight I've lost and the way I'm feeling very weak etc ,best of luck and let us know how you get on I'll be thinking about you .

Thank you, I will. She at least gave me some sleeping tablets. The doctor who called me to say my FIT test was positive refused to give me any. He was really cold and uncompassionate. Thank you, again for listening. X

Me too as people been saying I’m anorexic when usually love food & have always had to watch my weight! Other symptoms I hadn’t put together until recently plus already visited 2 different gps both saying nothing to worry about when actually now, it could be! Also get days sick as a pig where eating or trying to then makes it worse… anti sickness tablets are helpful but not all the time. 
dodnt get my call today so will be chasing them promptly tomorrow as that’s the cut off day for being given test dates/types… so we shall see if I learn any more or not.

Having colonoscopy and endoscopy on Thursday. Having CT scan on Monday. So by Thursday I'll know if I have cancer. Losing all this weight so rapidly has just made me think I have end stage cancer. I'm utterly devastated! I hope you get some answers soon. 

I take it they rang you and started the ball rolling that's good ,they might even tell you something on Monday after the scan if they see anything really nasty ,I know you're not looking forward to the tests but in a way it will be a bit of a relief because you know you're being seen at last ,I hope it goes well for you on Monday ,try to stay calm .

Wow that has happened fast- which is good news considering nhs resources as so stretched. A relief they are more on the case at least with early diagnosis! When did you hear from whoever first? I got called to book a triage call tomorrow 11am deciding what lies ahead & how quickly… it was expressed that they are incredibly OVER subscribed (unsurprisingly) so another night wondering what lies ahead & how quickly!

you must feel some relief that at least that they are being thorough… will you get same day results alongside then waiting on any biopsies that are taken from the investigations? 
to add to my fun & games, today the gynae issues are back with vengeance previous explanations being endometriosis clinic again & likely perimenopause as of last year hence affected ferritin levels in bloods- or are they from this instead… who knows I certainly am fedup with falling apart unsure where the main source of problems have come from. Answers even when we don’t like them… are at least answers.

then we can process that & find ways to carry on living life! 

are we allowed to communicate outside of here? I’m pretty bad at finding the threads or keeping up to date with journeys others are also happy sharing their experiences etc 

would love to hear how you find the investigations consultants & results process- that’s what we dread most usually lol.
