Hi all hope you are all doing ok. Quick update from me I am day 2 post op home and recovering. They managed to get Samantha out by keyhole thank goodness she was actually 15cm and made of 2 dermoid cysts. She was stuck to my pelvic wall and my c section scars and had started to leak. She was mainly fluid and hair and been sent off to histology now to check. Can’t thank the NHs enough tbh they have been great. Fingers crossed for the histology being clear. Thanks again for everyone’s support x

Lovely to hear from you post op! How are you feeling? 15cm is huge, fantastic they kept it keyhole! Have they managed to keep everything all intact internally? 
that’s me 4 months post op. Still no histology. I can only assume and hope that’s good news. My discharge papers say benign cyst but not a peep since! Hope your recovery goes ok x 

My discharge notes said dermoid as well they left my uterus but took my ovaries and tubes i dont need them anymore anyway. I feel ok just tired and achy.. gosh does it take that long for the results ? 

Oh so glad you're home post op! Samantha was a bit cheeky having a secret 2nd Samantha in there too.

I'm one week post my first chemo cycle now and finally starting to feel human. It's been a weird week of feeling very unattached to myself but I've managed a couple of walks out, lots of rest and I'm enjoying food again. Couple of weeks now til the next go x

And you jeh, I think about you too often! How are you? You weren’t feeling so great after first chemo. You will be long past that now. Are you still having chemo? Thinking of you and hoping 2026 is better x 

Hello! Sorry for the delay. I'm half way through my chemo so 3 more to go! I'll stay on avastin though every 3 weeks for another 9 cycles then maintenance drugs.

Today I got good news that my tumours have shrunk by 50%!! I'm so pleased it's working and it almost makes the side effects bearable!

Yes me too! Just had my 6th and hopefully last chemo after a rubbish 2025! So going for a better 2026 … wishing you all the very best too for 2026 xx

I mainly suffer with the peripheral neuropathy and terrible constipation! I've been lucky to not have mouth issues or skin issues, it's all been digestion related.

But I've been active in life when I am able to. I've had a little break away, I've enjoyed Christmas and I've been out for meals.

I had a short spell in hospital with no immune system after the first round but now I have injections to prevent that from happening and I've been fine since.

I'll have two infusion days in Jan then the last one in Feb woohoo!
