Swollen Supraclavicular Nodes

Hi, I’m 50 and have a lump in my left armpit. I went to see the gp last week who said it’s a movable lump, 4cm in size and has referring me for an ultrasound scan. When I got home i realised I hadn’t shown him my neck. On both sides my supraclavicular nodes are both swollen and noticeable. I took a picture and sent it to my gp, and he’s arranged a telephone appointment with me this Wednesday. Has anyone else experienced issues with their Supraclavicular nodes and what was the outcome please? im tired and waking up at night in a sweat but not drenching - assumed it was menopause related although that had stopped as I had started HRT couple of years ago. Any advice help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

  • Hi Laurenjess, how are you? I’ve had quite a lot of tears, so had all bloods done - all were normal including TSH.

Had an ultrasound which showed enlarge right side thyroid lobe and a prominent IV lymph node in the short axis. Said the thyroid was heterogeneous throughout. Then I saw a ENT consultant who was qquite dismissive and said there was nothing wrong and that my thyroid antibody test which I was about to get the results for would also be normal - he was wrong.

My thyroid antibodies TPO test came back this week showing it was abnormal and levels were raised. ive hust had a chest X-ray today as im also experiencing a dry cough, breathlessness, and tightness in my neck and throat area, and still have this awful fatigue.
