Just adding that I’m in Scotland 

The wait time is going up :( I was told 8 weeks. 
im now at this stage (this week) and was told by my gp surgery yesterday, that the labs nor the hospital have released any results yet or sent out any letters. This system is so cruel. 
the new fds system certainly does not work. And has no benefit to patients it seems 

I hope you get good news soon xx I feel I've left appointments without asking questions I wanted to ask like why are they removing instead of monitoring? I did get an appointment for removal within 3 weeks. My mole was on my back, I'm just worried as I know I haven't checked it properly because of where if is. First nurse I saw told me to check every 2 weeks when I can't see it properly?

Hello, it can be that long. I had a mole removed end of January, I had the biopsy results (all clear) mid March. I understand if there is a big concern they tend to get back to you sooner..

Oh totally. It is incredibly stressful. I really hope you hear soon. 

I’m the same, had a mole removed from side of foot in March. Suspected melanoma, was told results upto 8 weeks. I rang in the week on the 8 week date to be told results are taking longer than usual and to expect them by 10 weeks now. I’m slowly loosing my mind as I approach 9 weeks of nervously waiting. I’m Wolverhampton west mids.
