Also told my son, but didn’t go into too much detail as he’s in the army so he’s away from home all the time so didn’t want to worry him too much x

That’s a weight lifted for you , I done exactly the same told my family played it right down so that they knew but only told them the positives and that it was early stages ect which it was and that I was gunna be ok and I was I walked that Mile with my head tall Lippy on smiling I wasn’t giving in to pj days and it worked for me I didn’t miss a single outing with friends xx you can do it too xx.

the only thing that got me where my family got concerned is that my lymph nodes were clear on scans ect but after operation I had a teeny trace in one node so then had to have another operation removing all nodes , this scared them cause I had played it down , so it bit me on backside a bit , but after that operation all lymph nodes taken they come back clear panick over xx 

Yeah I’ve not mentioned about nodes to them. Obv my scan showed nothing but as you said, could be different during surgery. So will play that from there.   It has def been a huge weight off my shoulders telling them as that was the only thing I was worried about. So going to leave them a day or 2, to process it all and then go see them again.

I am def not giving in to pjs days haha .  I will be going on as normal as best I can.  Xx

i believe their meetings to go through results are on Thursdays , so they will check MRI scans n hopefully receptor results are back too, so I’m hoping I will hear something by monday x
