Ovarian cancer

Hi 

I'm 67 ... I've post menopausal.I had hysterectomy 

24yrs ago .. however one ovary was not removed 

gynaecologist said it was to help with the menopause.

persobaly I would of rather if had it removed !

well I've been having terrible lower back pain

bloating , IBS symptoms dreadful . Pain in my groin 

is so sharp I can't sit or drive ..,

nothing helps it !

I had a MRI of my lower back just last week 

Resulting in an accidental finding of A 

5cm swelling of my left ovary .... the one and only he left !!

ibe been referred for scan and had a CA125 taken

awaiting the result .

im

so anxious I've not slept ..  crying most of the time 

I've a Son with special needs .. I need to be fit to care for him .

please help me 

I'm convinced I've ovarian cancer .. 

with all the symptoms and the finding on the lower back MRI

    Hi Rosie - i hope your doing okay? It's literally the worst feeling in the world to find this kind of stuff out about ourselves isnt it? Im sorry your going through this, its a very very scary place to be the not knowing. Do you know what your next steps are? You aren't alone xx

    I'm petrified..

    crying most  of the time !

    my husband is recovering from open heart surgery 

    which was a big shock .. for us as he was very fit and healthy 

    Now I'm faced with this shock scare ..

    I'm convinced I've got ovarian Ca 

    im waiting on the CA 125 result 

    going privately next week to see gynaecologist 

    for consultation and scan ..

    The pain is dreadful keeps me awake at night mostly on my right 

    side groin area my back feels as if I'm in labor

    MRI showed it up .... as a cystic swelling !!

    my heart goes out to everyone in this position 

    Fear of the unknown  is overwhelming me
