Awaiting biopsy results from breast

Hi

I have been told that if anything untoward is discovered 

in the biopsy, that the patient is usually informed within around 48 hours.  Is this true?

    Hi Seza72. I waited 15 days for my biopsy results. Surgery 12 days after the cancer was confirmed. Around 2 weeks seems to be the norm whether it's good or bad news. Try not to worry or read anything into the length of the wait. Hoping your results are all clear, best wishes, Mog, x
