Reading of your diagnosis - sounds painful! I am glad you have found out what it is though. I'd say look at all treatment options they can offer, you never know, the first one you try might just work!  Will be great to know how you get on. Have a lovely (relaxing) Easter xx

I had a biopsy 5 weeks ago for possible melanoma and they did tell me at the time it could take up to 6 weeks.  The waiting is awful.

Exactly that,  I try to think positive but I did ask the dermatologist if he thought it was cancer to which he said yes. He was called n by my original dermatologist for a 2nd opinion which got my alarm bells ringing.

Unfortunately not heard anything back, no letter or anything so will be phoning again tomorrow. I'm trying to be patient as I realise they are busy but I just feel my life is in limbo .

Yes calling up for your results is probably the best thing to do. I will probably call my surgeons secretary again at the start of next week, I have not waited as long as you have, but it doesn't harm to let them know that you do want to know your results, and sometimes they will give you information that you may not have got yet, like if the results go to MDT or if an appointment is on its way to you.

I was told  in 10 days I would get results they said to staff shortages it will be 3weeks if you are lucky just terrible
