About Plumlet

Hello, I am a 46 year old mother of three and I was diagnosed with Invasive Breast Cancer in April 2022. My GP referred me for a large painful lump in the right breast which has been uncomfortable to lay on for a few months. I had a Mammogram on 5th April 2022 which confirmed the painful lump was attributed to normal nodular breast tissue, however , an unexpected 11mm spiculated mass (which was not able to be felt during examination) was found after an ultrasound scan and a more detailed mammogram. 4 biopsies were taken on the same day and on the 22nd of April it was confirmed that I have Invasive Breast Cancer Grade 2. I had a Lumpectomy and Sentinel Node Biopsy on the 18th May 2022.
