Breast lump

Hi everyone!
I recently found a lump and had the doctors yesterday afternoon where she referred me to a specialist at our local hospital. She's said that I will probably need an ultrasound and a breast biopsy. Can anyone give me some information on this? What it's like?
I'm also 27 and I have an 8 year old daughter and if I'm being honest, I'm absolutely terrified of it being something bad when it's probably nothing.

    My doctor made my February two week referral appointment in the surgery during my appointment. It's hard not to feel worried but most breast lumps are benign and breast clinic sees them all. I hope you have your appointment soon. It's hard not to worry but most lumps are ok. The mammogram can be a bit uncomfortable, but the reassurance it gives is worth it. 
    Try to keep busy and relax l know it's not easy,
