Hi Jacs, thanks for checking in, I have my appointment at 9.15am tomorrow, don't know what to do with myself today! I have a 7 month old and a 9 year old so the baby boy is keeping me on my toes physically, and the 9 year old mentally! My husband is away this evening but back in the early hours to take me thankfully so he can look after the baby in the car and probably find a nearby park for a couple of hours whilst I'm in there. I'm expecting to be at least 2 hours so I've been told and have read on here so he may be better just going home, although the hospital is about 40 mins from home.

The waiting is AWFUL - at least you have an early slot tomorrow morning - what have they told you to expect? Is it the NHS "Triple Assessment" appointment?

PS Tell your husband NOT to park in a hospital carpark - our local one is about £1 a minute! I parked in the shopping multi storey nearby - isnt it funny what our priorities are on appointment day?!

Hi Jacsgirl, thank you for thinking of me! 
I've been given my appointment at the rapid access clinic (gynae) for the 28th so still ages to wait. 
Im not coping well, my mind just goes to the worst case scenario's constantly. I just wish it was over! 

It's horrible isnt it. My grandma, mum and younger sister have all had breast cancer - I tried to re-position the whole thing in my head and think ok as long as its treatable I can cope. Oddly it made me feel better adjusted about the whole thing. 

I think 8 out of 10 people have something that isnt cancer? xx
