I don't have triple negative by was diagnosed recently with hormone positive - HER2 negative. 
 

Just wanted to say re the shoulder and chest tingling feelings. Ever since I was diagnosed I've had those feelings too! I was convinced it was spreading by the minute once I knew I had it. I spoke to my cancer nurse about it. She said that it's really common! She said that it's recognised as being something a great number of cancer patients experience post diagnosis but that it's not something to worry about! I'm holding on to that! 
 

I don't know if that helps atall or not :). Just thought I'd share. Wishing you all the best with your treatment - it's diagnosed. It's gonna be sorted. It's just a blip. That's my outlook.

That means a lot, I know no cancer is good but mines is more difficult to treat but I guess you have to hope it's caught early and they said it will be fine. 
I was going to call my nurse tomorrow as freaking myself out!

The pain only really comes when I'm stressed and thinking about it but day to day if I'm busy I can't feel anything so you are right it's probably in my head!

I was diagnosed with TN cancer in January. Had a mammogram/ultrasound and biopsy done on the same day. I started chemotherapy beginning of March 12 weeks, every week. The good news is the chemotherapy has drastically shrunk the tumour and it's disappeared from the lymph nodes. The surgeon told me before I started chemo that they've learned a lot about triple negative and the results are getting better. Have faith in your surgeon and oncology team, they'll get you through

Yes I've been naive and thought I could get a lumpectomy and radiotherapy but they said they would want to do chemo first to shrink it! I suppose nothing in life is certain and I'm upset this is happening but I just want to start the journey!

I am surprised you waited so long to start treatment?

I thought chemo would start within weeks as this type is faster growing but I'll find all this out next week!

I totally get that. My tingles were/are so similar! I have put them down to anxiety. Like a sort of panic attack feeling. My arm and chest tingles, goes tight etc. I was so worried. Which of course made it worse! 
 

I understand what you mean re triple negative being more worrying. Absolutely. However, like you say, they've said it will be fine. I've been lead to believe that the people treating us don't mince their words and if they tell us it's ok, it's ok to believe them. I asked my consultant if he was definitely telling me the truth! And he said yes! Absolutely. This is what you have. It's treatable and this is how we're going to do it!

I had the mammogram end of January, 2 week wait for results. Saw the surgeon " Yes it's cancer and because it was triple negative and it's aggressive we're going to do chemotherapy first". They do the chemo treatments first now so the don't disturb the tumour so rogue cancer cells don't go else where. So had to wait 2 weeks to see the oncologist then week later started chemo. All chemo treatments are different, 1 size don't fit all. It depends on the cancer, the severity so they have to get the right one just for you. All the little aches and pains etc you get are all magnified when you first get told, I actually phoned my GP convinced I had lung cancer, but he reassured me that feeling like this was normal

I have triple negative but we didn't know until I had results back from lumpectomy and slnb. They initially thought I had hormone positive. I had my results on MY 12th and start chemo on 11th June. I will have 2 different sorts then radiotherapy so will be xmas when it's finished.

I think a lot of the niggles you get are just natural stress related as once you know you have cancer your mind goes into overdrive.
