Morning feeling mixed up since diagnosis of melanoma

Here for support from others going through the same thing as feel very lonely and upset . People say family and friends are a help I just seem forgotten and hardly hear from anyone starting to think maybe aren’t friends . Been diagnosed with melanoma 4.1 mm having a wide local excision on Wednesday and been waiting 3 weeks for ct scan results . Having issues walking under investigation , basically sitting in home with my thoughts and lack of sleep .Want to be positive but really is hard , seeing friends and family on social media seems like life goes on feel insignificant .

  • Hello I hope your feeling a bit better today, I was diagnosed with melanoma on my ear in January this year, I’m a single older person  50+who lives on my own and it is very lonely at times ,my best died from cancer last October so it’s hard having no one to talk to.

The good positive news is after waiting weeks and weeks I’ve been told my melanoma has not spread, so after surgery and having a huge chunk of ear removed that’s a relief

waiting on results is stressful and frustrating but you’ll get through it,fingers crossed for you my dear.
