Ive just been told the 10cm lesion on my liver is cancer. In shock. No symptoms at all. Got an appointment at the hospital on Tuesday. Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.

The good news is that you've been diagnosed before you have symptoms so it will be treatable. Had liver cancer discovered by accident in a CT for kidney stones and surgery was all I needed and it kept it away for nearly 4 years. it has recurred but is kept in check with immunotherapy. you will still worry but there are many worse outcomes. Please let us know when you are in a better place it will be soon John
Thank you for your kind words- much appreciated.
These are not kind words as you face difficult times and your family should not make it harder - so tell them so. when i was first diagnosed i fell apart and a stonemason who was fixing my dad's memorial plaque responded when i explained my problem. he had incurable neck cancer but a brave surgeon had fixed him if you listen to radio 4 thank you saturday morning live you will hear my story

Not sure i understand your comments about not kind words from liverme or about my family. They are not making it harder - the cancer diagnosis is.
