Newly diagnosed stage 1 womb cancer

Hi All

I am recently diagnosed with stage 1 womb cancer at 57.

A hysteroscopy biospsy identified this and I also have a lesion on my ovary that needs a urgent MRI

Since then, a week and a half ago I have heard nothing, I have no idea how long an urgent MRI takes or when treatment will start (I am told I will likley need a hysterectomy)

Any guidance appreciated , still feeling very confused and no idea what happens next, I am based in Yorkshire.

  • Hi All, newly diagnosed with Stage 1 Hormonal Womb Cancer, my journey started is July 2025 failure to enter the Womb, 3.5 weeks later surgery 4 pollups removed sent off, 2 weeks later Appointment on above results,

MRI Scan confirmed that it was contained within my Womb, here I am 5 days away from Surgery on a Full Hysterectomy needed.

I've been OK, not sure if I should be feeling any different but at the moment, still positive and thankful for the quick response from the NHS
