Newly diagnosed stage 1 womb cancer

Hi All

I am recently diagnosed with stage 1 womb cancer at 57.

A hysteroscopy biospsy identified this and I also have a lesion on my ovary that needs a urgent MRI

Since then, a week and a half ago I have heard nothing, I have no idea how long an urgent MRI takes or when treatment will start (I am told I will likley need a hysterectomy)

Any guidance appreciated , still feeling very confused and no idea what happens next, I am based in Yorkshire.

    I have just today been diagnosed with endometrial cancer after hysteroscopy on 29 August.  I have an appintment to discuss tomorrow and MRI was requested also for tomorrow.  No idea of staging yet, until after scan.  MDT discussing my case for staging this coming Friday.  I am 66.  I am worried as will likely need hysterectomy and other treatments.  I am sure you will hear soon.  Best wishes
