MCP for prostate

Has anyone used modified citrus pectin (MCP) as a complementary medicine alongside hormone therapy for prostate cancer? I’m on the latter & wanted to ensure it won’t interfere with the hormone treatment. Thanks.

  • Hi Fletch, started using MCP around 3 months ago. I am 8 months after prostatectomy and had positive margins. I am 47 years of age. For the first 5 weeks I managed to take it three times daily, but then gas started so I am down to 1 a day now, I use pectasol. The immediate effect of it is somehow crazy to describe, but in a nutshell I felt I was ten years younger. I also do mistletoe injections, Agaricus Bisporus and some other supplements, but I must say MCP is amazing. The energy from it is amazing. My blood work good so far, so can let you know in a few months if still ok, but I don't know if u can take it with hormone therapy
